Conditions of Hire

MAKING A BOOKING

 Please read the below Conditions of Hire prior to making a booking. Once you have decided on your dates, you will be required to pay up to $400 holding deposit. You will be required to pay the balance of hire, 14 days prior to the pick up date. The holding deposit will be deducted from the balance. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Direct Deposit & Cash - sorry no personal cheques. Please refer to our Hire Rates for further information.

CHECK LIST FOR PICK UP
 

	Please make an appointment prior to picking up the trailer- Allow approximately 60mins for demonstration and paperwork;
	2 forms of ID (driver's licence & credit card or car rego) will be required;
	A copy of your vehicle's full comprehensive car insurance;
	$750 cleared funds for the security bond;
	Please have your towing tongue with ball removed;
	If you have a 'Treg Hitch' please bring it with you;
	Remember to bring a 7 pin flat plug or adaptor.

ABOUT MAKING PAYMENT

 A non-refundable holding deposit of $250 for up to 6 nights hire and $400 for 7 nights or more, is payable upon booking. No booking will be confirmed until this payment has cleared. The remaining hire cost will be paid in full, 14 days prior to commencement of hire. If payment is not made, the booking will be cancelled, with no refund of the holding deposit.

 A security BOND of $750 is payable by cash or credit card prior to departure. This covers insurance costs and excess. Bond refunds will be returned within 7 days. This allows time for Bean Offroad Camping to conduct a full maintenance check prior to release of funds and deduct any amounts as outlined in our Conditions of Hire.

 If the hirer wishes to cancel their booking within 6 weeks of the booking, then the holding deposit will not be refunded. Should the booking be cancelled more than 6 weeks from the commencement of hire, then the holding deposit may be transferred to another hire period within 6 months of the cancellation.

 Should any payment terms be contravened, Bean Offroad Camping reserves the right to cancel the hire agreement at any given time. In this event, the holding deposit will not be reimbursed.

 If the camper trailer is returned earlier than expected, then Bean Offroad Camping will not refund any amounts, and the remaining time of the hire will not be refunded.


RESTRICTIONS

 Bean Offroad Camping reserves the right to refuse hire to any persons deemed unsuitable.

 The hirer/driver must be at least 25 years of age at time of commencement of hire period. The hirer/driver must possess a current full/unrestricted driver’s licence issued in Australia ONLY – not a learners or provisional licence. A copy of the hirer/drivers licence, as well as a copy of the towing vehicle’s full comprehensive insurance certificate of currency, will be taken by Bean Offroad Camping prior to departure. In the event that the vehicle is in the name of a business, then a letter from the owner with full contact details will need to be provided.

 The hirer/driver must not have been refused Motor Vehicle Insurance at any time. The hirer/driver must not have been convicted of any driving offence that involved being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
